A Restorative Remedy For Hair Loss Due to Chemotherapy
One
of the most devastating effects of chemotherapy is the hair loss
that cancer patients experience. For this reason physicians in Germany
performed studies to help prevent this
hair loss due to chemotherapy.
Nine
physicians - professors at the universities who were oncologists,
dermatologists, gynecologists and general internists - participated
in the production of a thymus gland extract called ThymuSkin, a
product they developed primarily for cancer
patients who
were subjected to chemotherapy.
These
physicians performed placebo controlled, double-blind studies on
the effects of this product
on hair loss in cancer
patients. When the product was rubbed on the patient's scalp before
he/she took a chemotherapeutic agent, there was no hair fallout
or hair loss was kept at a minimum.
The German GMP subsequently declared the product to be a preventative
for hair fallout
for chemotherapy patients.
For
best results it is recommended to use this product two weeks prior
to the start up of chemotherapy. The
two most important products to use are the shampoo and treatment
lotion.
These two products have been proven to help stop hair loss during
chemotherapy.

A
Restorative Remedy For Hair Loss
By
Morton Walker, D.P.M.
To
prevent baldness and restore hair to a head that's losing it has
been the dream of men and women for generations. Finally, controlling
the hair growth process by use of a topically applied product is
possible. Utilizing the finest medical minds at German universities
and hospitals, researchers have manufactured such a compound. It's
being imported into North America for resale in the United States
through our health food industry.
The
product's creation was fostered by the FDA's acceptance in 1989
that hair growth could be positively increased by non-drug cosmetic
applications directly to the scalp. Hair scientists in Germany,
Japan, China, France, Switzerland, and the U.S. all began developing
treatments that affected hair growth.
For
seven years, they've worked diligently but separately to perfect
an externally applied lotion, gel, spray, cream, or ointment to
stimulate hair restoration or prevent further hair fallout. It was
a race for big money--lots of sales among the estimated 66% of the
world's men and 22% of its women who are bald or balding. Using
thymus gland extract as their main ingredient, German scientists
finally won the hair restoration race.
No
Hair Loss from Chemotherapy
The
same hair restorative protects the heads of cancer patients so that
baldness doesn't occur from the cytotoxic chemotherapy they undergo.
This new hair-preserving agent was, in fact, developed in answer
to requests from oncologists, dermatologists, internists, and gynecologists
administering anticancer chemicals at eight renowned German or Austrian
universities. The clinicians had been attempting to mitigate chemotherapy's
unsightly side effects, which further suppress their patients' already
weakened immune systems.
The
hair revitalizer, extracted from the unused thymus glands of calves
already butchered into veal chops, also contains aloe vera; nettle,
birch, and other herbs; vitamins A, B, and F (essential fatty acids)
and other nutrients; immunity-assisting ingredients; and alcohol.
When this combination is applied to the scalp one week before chemotherapy,
the patient's hair often stays intact.
More
than 600 patients with Hodgkin's lymphoma or cancer of the stomach,
lungs, kidneys, pancreas, breast, prostate, esophagus, and colon
were evaluated for their use of the thymus gland extract just prior
to receiving chemotherapy. In placebo-controlled; double-blind studies,
they received mild or aggressive cytotoxic drugs consisting of 5-fluorouracil,
etoposid, cis-platin, Adriamycin®, Cytoxan®, Novantrone®,
platinol (DDP), Carboplatin®, or oncovin.
Professor
Claus O. Koehler, PhD, department head of Medical and Biological
Informatics at the German Cancer Research Centre in Heidelberg,
Germany, reported that 88% of these cancer patients had their head
hair preserved without any signs of it falling out.
New
Scalp Massage Formula
Today,
not only are men and women saved from the unsightly side effects
of cytotoxic agents, but there's a solution for the rest of us who
suffer from thinning hair, falling hair, or outright baldness. The
new formula involves using a shampoo and lotion that together stimulate
the regrowth of hair strands when the hair follicles are alive.
If live hair follicles are dormant, they can give rise to new strands
of hair once again.
This
hair-growing solution also stops the white blood cells' auto-immune
attack on hair follicles, which some scientists believe is the main
cause of an individual's hair loss.
Topically-applied
Thymu-SkinŽ
Hair Treatment and Shampoo work effectively for most forms of
alopecia (baldness), especially for Alopecia totalis, A. universalis,
A. adrogenetica, A. medicamentosa, patchy baldness, and others.
Using one minute of scalp massage, the two products should be applied
to the head twice daily for the first four weeks to insure new hair
growth or to prevent any further receding hairline. Thereafter,
it's put on once a day for six to 18 months. After hair growth is
more predominant, usage is reduced to every second day, then to
twice a week.
Prevention
Success Rate
For
women with alopecia, Thymu-Skin is 95% successful; for men, the
success rate is 67%. Those separate regions on the scalp containing
enough live hair follicles will show good hair growth. If bare scalp
patches hold only dead follicles, no hair will rise from them.
New
hair growth will usually happen for men and women who are still
in the process of losing their hair or for those who had experienced
a sudden baldness occurring from allergy, nutritional deficiency,
pregnancy, drug usage, or other pathological reasons.
Even
as you're preventing hair loss by applying this product, you are
enhancing your immune system. The calf thymus extract enters one's
bloodstream and brings large immune-boosting benefits by stimulating
the human thymus gland to function.
